Deliveries

We now have a national courier service (including London and Scotland) for internal doors and external doors and also for stair parts and kitchen worktops.
Areas covered by our courier for internal and external door deliveries include: London, Essex, Middlesex, Glasgow, Birmingham, Sheffield, Bristol, Leeds, Edinburgh, Wembley, Coventry, Nottingham, Hull and many more................ Areas such as: the Scottish highlands, the isle of White and isle of Skye can usually be catered for but with additional surcharges.

Our standard courier charges for standard internal doors and external doors are:

£20 for the first door in the order and £10 for each door in the order after that up to a maximum of £100 (some harder to reach post codes such as IV, some AB and others cannot be done on our next day service and will incur extra charges). Some doors and door sets have their own charges (see product descriptions). Some doors also have FREE DELIVERY over a certain number ordered (conditions apply, see below). Please ring first if you have any special requirements, such as upstairs flats or awkward access buildings, as this could affect our ability to deliver your order.

We deliver door hardware at no extra delivery cost with door orders but there is generally an additional delivery charge if the order is for door furniture only as we incur costs for such deliveries

Some doors show a possible free delivery option. To qualify for a free delivery of these doors, the order must meet the minimum cost requirements. Access in and out for an articulated truck must be available. The address must be near to a standard main road route. There must be a capable person/people to assist with offloading the order if required. The availablility of this delivery cannot always be guaranteed.

Most courier delivered items are sent on a next day service. The delivery can be at any point during that day between 8am - 6pm. Customers must be available during these times. Other additional services such as:before 12pm and before 10:30am can be given but incur large surcharges. We always ask for the customer to be telephoned one hour before the delivery but we cannot guarantee that the particular driver will fulfill this request. We cannot give any ETA's before 2pm as the driver will not know these for certain before this time.

Occasionally on local deliveries help may be needed offloading your order so it is preferred is someone capable is available to help with the unloading of the vehicle where necessary. Help is not mandatory but please let us know before ordering and we will make other arrangements (extra charges will apply). If it is not possible to deliver for any reason we will make new arrangements to redeliver (extra charges may be incurred).

In the unlikely event that there is no-one at the delivery destination to accept the local delivery we will leave a note informing you that we have returned the items to our store and a repeat delivery charge will be added to the order.

Although we always endeavour to get stock into our stores and organise deliveries for the quickest date available, there is a small possibility of unforeseen circumstances over which we have no control. In such instances we will do our utmost to resolve any problems, and would be thankful for your patience.

All items must be checked on delivery. Any delivered items which have not been thoroughly checked but have any signs of damage on the packaging must be signed for as damaged as we cannot accept any notification of damage if the goods have been signed for in good condition (signing the delivery note means signing for in good condition unless damaged is also written). Any notification of damages must be within 24 hours of delivery.
